Michael S. Green is the founding member of the firm. He graduated cum laude with High Honors from Brandeis University and with a scholarship from the Hofstra University Law School. He is a member of the bars of the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Federal Claims (Vaccine Court) and the United States Supreme Court. He is also a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the New Jersey Bar Association and the New Jersey Middlesex County Bar Association
Mr. Green has litigated as co-lead counsel and class counsel consumer product class actions that have generated large settlements for consumers nationwide. Those litigations include: Scott Baird, et al v. Thompson Consumer Electronics, Inc., where Mr. Green was class counsel in a consumer fraud class action that resulted in a $100 million cash settlement for purchasers of certain RCA defective televisions; Extensis, Inc. v. Hewlitt-Packard Company, where Mr. Green was co-lead counsel in a consumer fraud class action that resulted in a settlement valued at over $140 million in rebate certificates and repair kits for purchasers of certain defective HP LaserJet printers.
Mr. Green has also been heavily involved in the litigation of medical malpractice cases and pharmaceutical class actions. He recently settled a Fen-Phen diet drug class action case for almost $1 million. And, he participated in litigation in the last five years of over twenty personal injury trials that went to verdict or settlement and the litigation of seven national class action cases. He brings to this work an extensive educational background in science and medicine. He studied biology and physiology while at Brandeis University and Georgetown University, and attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey before attending law school.
Most recently, in his role as class counsel in the Norvergence Class Action, Mr. Green could be seen on NBC News with Asa Aarons and Fox News in New York City, ABC News in Chicago, Fox News in Atlanta and NBC News in Baltimore. He has also been quoted in several articles in the Star Ledger, New Jersey's largest newspaper. (See Norvergence Class Action Media).
He is actively investigating medical malpractice cases involving misdiagnosed breast cancer utilizing one of the premier experts in the field.
